The Indian Railways has invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for selection of 223 Act Apprentices for imparting technical training at the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala in Punjab. The online registration cum application process towards the same starts from February 23, 2019 and close on March 23, 2019 by 12 pm, with March 28, 2019 as the last date for paying application fee.
The recruitment will be for various trades comprising Fitter, Welder (G&E), Machinist, Painter (G), Carpenter, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Electrician, Electronic Mechanic and AC & Ref Mechanic through direct selection.

Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for the post of Act Apprentices through Rail Coach Factory Recruitment must have attained 15 years of age as on February 23, 2019 and must not have exceeded 24 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 29 years for SC/ST candidates and 27 years for OBC categories.

Educational Criteria
Desirous candidates applying for the post of Act Apprentices through Rail Coach Factory Recruitment must has passed Class10th/SSC or equivalent with at least 50% marks (aggregate) from a recognised Board, and must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in notified trade duly issued by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT).
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates as Act Apprentices through Rail Coach Factory Recruitment will be done based on the marks secured by candidates in Class 10 plus ITI grades in specific trade.
Candidates selected as Act Apprentices will be paid stipend as per the organisation rules.
