Quest Global, an eminent product engineering services firm, has just announced the upcoming 13th edition of Ingenium, setting the stage for India's top engineering students to demonstrate their innovative capabilities. This premier competition, specifically aimed at select engineering institutions across India, provides a unique platform for participants to exhibit their solutions to some of the most challenging engineering problems. With the 2025 theme, 'Solving the world's hardest engineering problems,' Ingenium is geared towards unearthing and nurturing future engineering leaders by pushing the boundaries of their creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

The challenge is structured to encompass a broad spectrum of engineering dilemmas across various industries, encouraging students to develop groundbreaking solutions. "Ingenium has always been about fostering the next generation of engineering leaders," stated Lux Ramalingam, Chief Operating Officer at Quest Global. He further emphasized the significance of this initiative by adding, "This year, we're raising the bar by concentrating our efforts on some of India's most promising engineering talent, providing them an unparalleled opportunity to showcase their ingenuity and contribute to solving real-world challenges. We believe that investing in these bright minds is crucial for driving innovation and shaping a brighter future for the industry."
How Ingenium Works
The competition unfolds over a ten-week period from January to March 2025 and is segmented into four pivotal stages. Starting with an idea submission phase, shortlisted teams will progress to the detailed project submission round, which includes virtual presentations. Culminating in a grand finale in Bangalore, the top 10 teams will present their solutions to Quest Global business managers. The winning team will not only be awarded INR 2,00,000 but also gain an educational trip to a manufacturing facility abroad, with substantial financial rewards for the first and second runners-up as well.
