PRL Assistant Vacancy 2022: Last Date to apply extended to 15 October, know details

The last date to apply for Assistant vacancies in Physical Research Laboratory has been extended to October 15 from the earlier deadline of October 1, 2022. So in case you are someone who missed applying for these job vacancies, now is your time.

Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) is going to fill 17 vacancies for the posts of Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant. There are 11 posts vacant for assistants and 6 posts are vacant for Junior Personal Assistant designations. The pay scale for these posts will range between (Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100)

Selection Process of PRL Assistant Vacancy 2022

Selection will be done based on performance in Written Test and Typing Skill Test

Written Test:

Single Objective type paper with a duration of 120 minutes (with compensation
time for Physically Handicapped candidates).

Qualifying marks
a) 50% marks (in Part A, B & C) for unreserved category;
b) 40% marks (in Part A, B &C) for reserved categories

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant:

Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Management/Science/Computer Application with a minimum of 60% Marks PLUS basic knowledge of operating computers.

Junior Personal Assistant:

Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Management/Science/Computer Application with a minimum of 60% Marks PLUS basic knowledge of computer. And a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography.

Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with First Class with one-year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer, And
a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography, with basic knowledge of Computers
