PRL Assistant Vacancy 2022: Last Date to apply extended to 15 October, know details

The last date to apply for Assistant vacancies in Physical Research Laboratory has been extended to October 15 from the earlier deadline of October 1, 2022. So in case you are someone who missed applying for these job vacancies, now is your time.

All you need to have is a graduate degree with first division. Let's get into the details

Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) is going to fill 17 vacancies for the posts of Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant. There are 11 posts vacant for assistants and 6 posts are vacant for Junior Personal Assistant designations. The pay scale for these posts will range between (Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100)

Selection Process of PRL Assistant Vacancy 2022

Selection will be done based on performance in Written Test and Typing Skill Test

Written Test:

Single Objective type paper with a duration of 120 minutes (with compensation
time for Physically Handicapped candidates).

Qualifying marks
a) 50% marks (in Part A, B & C) for unreserved category;
b) 40% marks (in Part A, B &C) for reserved categories

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant:

• Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Management/Science/Computer Application with a minimum of 60% Marks PLUS basic knowledge of operating computers.

Junior Personal Assistant:

• Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Management/Science/Computer Application with a minimum of 60% Marks PLUS basic knowledge of computer. And a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography.

OR

• Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with First Class with one-year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer, And
• a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography, with basic knowledge of Computers

How to apply for PRL Assistant Recruitment 2022

There is a 2 stage process to apply

Stage 1 is Registration and activation of Registration. You must have an active e-mail id and Mobile Number to register.

Stage 2 is filling in your details in the Application Form

• Go to the official website at prl.res.in
• On the homepage, go to the Opportunity tab at the top
• Select "Job Vacancy" from the drop-down menu
• Click on the relevant job notification to apply
• Fill in the details and submit
• Pay the Exam Fee through Online Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking OR Offline E Challan Mode
