An official employment notification has been released by the Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, calling out for interested candidates to apply for the post of teachers. The post is available on a contractual basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational requirement

Candidates should have passed B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/Information Technology OR B.E./B.Tech in any stream and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Technology/Applications OR M.Sc. (Computer Science)/M.Sc. (IT)/MCA from a recognised university.

Age limit

The upper age limit is 45 years and will be calculated as on the last date of application.

Skills required

A desired condition is that the candidate should be acquainted with the customs, language, and manners of Himachal Pradesh and should be suitable for appointment in the peculiar condition prevailing in the state.

Selection process

The selection will be made on the basis of a written exam, the dates for which will be communicated at a later date through SMS.

How to apply for PG Teachers recruitment?

Candidates would have to submit their application in the prescribed application format personally in the office of the Director of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla- 1 along with the requisite attested documents to prove their eligibility. There is no examination fee for this recruitment.

Salary

Selected candidates would be paid a fixed amount of Rs. 14,500 per month.
