How to Apply?

  • Candidates must meet a minimum CGPA requirement and secure admission in a Ph.D. program at a PMRF-granting institution.
  • Selection is based on academic excellence, research exposure, and publications.
  • The fellowship continues if candidates show satisfactory progress within 12-18 months of their Ph.D.

Lateral Entry (For Ongoing Ph.D. Students)

  • Available for students already enrolled in a Ph.D. program at a PMRF-approved institution.
  • Applicants must meet specific coursework and CGPA criteria while staying within the allowed duration of their Ph.D.
  • Selection is based on a strong research proposal, publication record, and academic performance.
  • Institutions recommend candidates through the PMRF portal for final consideration.
