The announcement was made by the Ministry of Education, which also shared a certificate issued by Guinness World Records acknowledging this historic feat.
According to official data, over 2.13 crore (21.3 million) participants including students, teachers, and parents registered within 30 days to engage with the Prime Minister's annual interaction. Participants included those from across India's states and union territories, as well as Indians living overseas, reflecting the global outreach of the program.
Held annually ahead of board examinations, 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' is part of a broader campaign under the 'Exam Warriors' initiative by the Government of India. The platform allows students to ask questions directly to the Prime Minister and gain insights on how to handle exam stress, anxiety, peer pressure, career dilemmas, and motivation.
The 2025 edition of the event focused on the themes of:
