PGCIL Recruitment For 53 Executive Trainees (Electrical) Through GATE 2020

The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a 'Maharatna' PSU under Govt. of India, has invited online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling 53 vacancies to the post of Executive Trainees in Electrical Discipline through direct recruitment based GATE 2020 score. The application process towards the same started on January 31, 2020 and closes on February 20, 2020 by 11:59 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Executive Trainees post through PGCIL Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 28 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC-NCL), 5 years (SC/ST) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must remit a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode only. SC/ST/PWD and Ex-SM candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Executive Trainees post through PGCIL Recruitment must possess a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc; Diploma in Electrical/Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering/Power Engineering (Electrical) engineering disciplines with minimum 70% marks from a recognised University/Institute.

The selection of candidates as Executive Trainees through PGCIL Recruitment will be done through Shortlisting, GATE 2020 score and Written Test/Interview as detailed here

Candidates selected as Executive Trainees through PGCIL Recruitment will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 60,000 to 1,80,000 per month.
