PGCIL Recruitment: Apply Online For 110 Assistant Engineers (Trainee) Post Through GATE 2019

The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a 'Maharatna' PSU under Govt. of India, has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 110 vacancies to the post of Assistant Engineer Trainees (AET) in Electrical, Electronics and Civil engineering streams through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same starts from January 20, 2020 and closes on February 7, 2020 by 11:59 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for AET posts through PGCIL Recruitment must not have exceeded 28 years of age as on December 31, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC-NCL), 5 years (SC/ST) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (Gen/OBC/UR) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode only. SC/ST/PWD and Ex-SM candidates, however, are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for AET posts through PGCIL Recruitment must possess B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc in Electrical, Electronics and Civil engineering disciplines with minimum 60% marks from a recognised University/Institute.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as AET through PGCIL Recruitment will be done based on candidates' GATE 2019 score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Candidates selected as AET posts through PGCIL Recruitment will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month.
