PGCIL Recruitment 2020 Of Engineering Graduates For Executive Posts Through GATE 2021

The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a 'Maharatna' company under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, has released an advertisement inviting online applications from eligible and interested Engineering candidates, who have appeared for GATE-2021 in the corresponding paper for filling numerous Executive positions in Electrical, Electronics and Civil engineering disciplines through direct recruitment to be posted anywhere in India on a fulltime basis. The online application-cum-registration process towards the same starts from January 15, 2021 onwards, and closes on February 15, 2021.

PGCIL Recruitment 2020: Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Executive posts through PGCIL Recruitment 2020 must not have exceeded 28 years of age as on December 31, 2020, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC-NCL), 5 years (SC/ST) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in PGCIL Notification 2020.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (Gen/UR/OBC) as application fee for Executive posts through PGCIL Recruitment 2020. However, SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of application fees as notified in PGCIL Notification 2020 given at the end of the article.

PGCIL Recruitment 2020: Education And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Executive post through PGCIL Recruitment 2020 must possess a B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in Electrical, Electronics, and Civil engineering or equivalent disciplines from a recognised University/Institute.

PGCIL Recruitment 2020: Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to Executive posts through PGCIL Recruitment 2020 will be done based marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2021, Group Discussion & Personal Interview as mentioned in PGCIL Notification 2020.

Candidates selected to Executive posts through PGCIL Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 per month.
