The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a 'Maharatna' PSU under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, has invited online applications from qualified and interested individuals for filling 112 Apprentice vacancies in the various trades comprising Assistant - Human Resource (05), Executive -Human Resource (10), ITI - Electrical (35), Diploma - Civil Engineering (25) and Diploma - Electrical Engineering (37) through direct recruitment to be posted at PGCIL units in North Eastern Region, covering all states of North East except Sikkim. The application-cum-registration process towards the same started on June 1, 2020 and closes on June 30, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Apprentices post through PGCIL Recruitment 2020 must meet the age criteria as per the PGCIL norms, with relaxation (upper age limit) for OBC-NCL, SC/ST and PWD candidates as applicable.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Apprentices post through PGCIL Recruitment 2020 must possess a B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Civil/Electrical engineering discipline; MBA in HR; ITI in Electrical trade from a recognised University/Institute.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Apprentices through PGCIL Recruitment 2020 will be done through a Written Test/Trade Test and Certificate Verification.

Candidates selected as Apprentices through PGCIL Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument as per the PGCIL norms.
