OSSTET Result 2018 Declared On The Official Website

The Board of Secondary Education of Odisha (BSEO) has released the Odisha Secondary School Teachers Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2018 result. Candidates who have appeared for the recruitment exam held on October 5, 2018, can visit the official website to check the OSSTET result.

According to the sources, the OSSTET results should be announced on January 5, 2019. The results were delayed due to unknown reasons and released on January 7, 2019. Aspirants have to note that the OSSTET result 2018 will be available only on the official website.

Step 1: Visit the official website of OSSTET.
Step 2: Click on the result tab on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the link OSSTET 2018 result.
Step 4: Enter the login credentials, such as enrolment number.
Step 5: Submit the details to access the OSSTET result 2018.

After checking the OSSTET result 2018, candidates are advised to download the same for future reference. The qualifying marks were different for each category. Candidates belonging to unreserved category have to obtain minimum 60% marks in each paper. However, the qualifying marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/SEBC will be relaxed up to 10%.

The BSEO conducts the OSSTET to select the candidates for a teaching position for classes 1 to 8. The qualified candidates will soon receive the eligibility certificate. The OSSTET certificate will be valid until the candidate reaches the upper age limit. This certificate will also give eligibility to apply for the teacher recruitment in Odisha state.
