Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Junior Engineers (Civil) post through OSSC Recruitment must have attained 21 years of age as on January 1, 2019 and not have exceeded 32 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC and all women candidates as specified in the notification.

Candidates must deposit a prescribed amount of Rs. 200 (Gen/SEBC) as examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc, payment gateways) mode only in SBI. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Junior Engineers (Civil) post through OSSC Recruitment must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Odisha State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training (OSCTE&VT) or from any institution recognised by SCTE&VT.

Candidates must be able to read, write and speak Odia dialect, and must have studied Odia as one of the subjects in the HSC or passed examination in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard to that effect.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Junior Engineers (Civil) post through OSSC Recruitment will be done in three stages comprising - Main Examination, Career Evaluation and Certificate Verification.
