The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC), under Govt. of Odisha, has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 363 vacancies to the post of Junior Engineers in Civil and Mechanical streams to be posted under the Engineer-in-Chief (Water Resources). Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Junior Engineers post through OSSC Recruitment 2019 must have attained 21 years of age as on January 1, 2019 and not have exceeded 32 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC and all women candidates as specified in the notification.

Candidates must deposit a prescribed amount of Rs. 200 (Gen/SEBC) as examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc, payment gateways) mode only in SBI. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from pay the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Junior Engineers post through OSSC Recruitment 2019 must possess a Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from the Odisha State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training (OSCTE&VT) or from any institution recognised by SCTE&VT.

Candidates must be able to read, write and speak Odia dialect, and must have studied Odia as one of the subjects in the HSC or passed examination in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard to that effect.

Candidates selected as Junior Engineers through OSSC Recruitment 2019 will be paid an emolument of Rs. 16,880 per month.
