OSSC Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 294 Lab Assistants-Cum-Store Keepers Post Before January 30

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC), under Govt. of Odisha, has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 294 vacancies to the post of Laboratory Assistant-cum-Storekeepers in various disciplines comprising Physics (60), Chemistry (68), Botany (62), Zoology (57), Geology (06), Statistics (05), Anthropology (05), Geography (05), Education (07), Home Science (08) and Psychology (11) through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same started on December 31, 2019 and closes on January 30, 2020 by 11:55 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Lab Assistants-cum-Store Keepers post through OSSC Recruitment 2019 must have attained 21 years of age as on January 1, 2018 and not have exceeded 32 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC and all women candidates as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 200 (Gen/SEBC) as examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc, payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from pay the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Lab Assistants-cum-Store Keepers post through OSSC Recruitment 2019 must possess a Bachelor's Degree with honors in the practical/relevant subjects concerned as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must be able to read, write and speak Odia dialect, and must have studied Odia as one of the subjects in the HSC or passed examination in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard to that effect.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Lab Assistants-cum-Store Keepers post through OSSC Recruitment 2019 through Main Written Examination and Certificate Verification.

Candidates selected as Lab Assistants-cum-Store Keepers post through OSSC Recruitment 2019 will be paid an emolument of Rs. 16,880 per month.
