Oracle US offers a Job of Rs 2.03 crore to IIT BHU Varanasi student

Job offers at IITs are raining, the Oracle US has offered a whopping Rs 2.03 crore pay package to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi student.

Another IIT BHU student had received an offer from Google Mountain View for a Rs 1.63 crore pay package.

Oracle offers Rs 2.03 crore job to IIT BHU student

The Training and Placement Cell, Prof Anil Kumar Agarwal said, "It is the highest salary offered by a company to out student."

Agarwal said that till now 27 multinational corporations including Oracle US, Google Mountain View, Microsoft Redmond, Epic Systems, Works Applications, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Visa had visited the IIT BHU campus for placement services.

In 2013, the highest pay package was Rs 65 lakh from Microsoft. Around 52 students got jobs on Tuesday with 56 job offers. [IIT Kharagpur student gets whopping Rs 1.5 crore pay package]

As per the reports, it is expected that more than 100 firms will visit the campus for the recruitment process. The first phase of the placement process will be held from December 01 to 21, 2014, the second phase would begin from January 02, 2015.
