Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Assistant Law Officers (Group B) post through OPSC Recruitment must have attained 21 years of age as on January 01, 2019 and not be more than 32 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST/SEBC/Women) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must deposit a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (Gen/UR) as examination fee through SBI Challan mode only on or before October 24, 2019. However, SC/ST (Odisha only) and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the examination fees.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for Assistant Law Officers (Group B) post through OPSC Recruitment must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognised University/Institute, and must be a practicing advocate in Bar for a minimum period of three years as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Assistant Law Officers (Group B) post through OPSC Recruitment will be done through a Written Examination to be held in Cuttack.

Candidates selected as Assistant Law Officers (Group B) through OPSC Recruitment will be paid an emolument of Rs. 35,400 per month.
