OPSC Recruitment: Apply Online For 31 Assistant Executive Engineers (Electrical) Post

The Odisha Pradesh Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 31 vacancies to the post of Assistant Executive Engineers (Electrical) under the Odisha Energy Dept., in Group A of the Odisha Engineering Service through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same starts from October 9, 2019 and closes on November 8, 2019 by 11:59 pm with November 14, 2019 as the last date for paying the examination fees.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Assistant Executive Engineers (Group A) post through OPSC Recruitment must have attained 21 years of age as on January 1, 2019 and not be more than 32 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST/SEBC/Women) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must deposit a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (Gen/UR) as examination fee through SBI Challan mode only on or before November 14, 2019. However, SC/ST (Odisha only) and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the examination fees.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Assistant Executive Engineers (Group A) post through OPSC Recruitment must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent from a recognised University/Institute, and must be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Electrical engineering as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Assistant Executive Engineers (Group A) post through OPSC Recruitment will be done through a Written Test (objective type) and Viva Voce.

Candidates selected as Assistant Executive Engineers (Group A) through OPSC Recruitment will be paid emolument in the pay scale of Level 12 pay matrix under ORSP rules.
