The Odisha Pradesh Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 30 vacancies to the post of Junior Assistants (Group C) in the office of the Odisha Public Service Commission in Cuttack on contract for a period of six (06) years through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same started on September 24, 2019 and closes on October 23, 2019 by 11:59 pm with October 31, 2019 as the last date for paying the application processing fees.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Junior Assistants (Group C) post through OPSC Recruitment must have attained 21 years of age as on January 1, 2019 and not be more than 32 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST/SEBC/Women) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must deposit a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (Gen/UR) as examination fee through SBI Challan mode only on or before October 31, 2019. However, SC/ST (Odisha only) and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the examination fees.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Junior Assistants (Group C) post through OPSC Recruitment must possess a Bachelor's Degree (any discipline) from a recognised University/Institute, and have adequate knowledge of computer and its applications as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Junior Assistants (Group C) post through OPSC Recruitment will be done through a Written Test (objective type) and Practical Skill Test.
