The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), under Govt. of Odisha, has released a OPSC ASCO Notification 2021 inviting online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling Ninety-Two (92) Assistant Soil Conservation Officer (ASCO) posts in OPSC through direct recruitment to be posted across Odisha in India on a fulltime basis. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same starts on April 23, 2021 and closes on May 24, 2021 by 11:59 pm.

OPSC Recruitment 2021: Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for OPSC ASCO Jobs through OPSC Recruitment 2021 must have completed 21 years of age as on January 1, 2021 and not be more than 32 years, with a relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/Ex-SM and Women candidates) and 10 years (PWD candidates) respectively as specified in the OPSC Notification 2021.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (GEN/UR) as application processing fee for OPSC ASCO Jobs under OPSC Recruitment 2021 through online (net-banking/debit/credit, etc. payment gateways) mode. However, SC/ST and PWD candidates of Odisha) are exempted from paying the application fee as stated in the OPSC Notification 2021.

Candidates interested in applying for OPSC ASCO Jobs through OPSC ASCO Recruitment 2021 must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture or Agriculture Engineering or Forestry from a recognised University/Institution as detailed in the OPSC Notification 2021.

The selection of candidates as OPSC ASCO Jobs through OPSC ASCO Recruitment 2021 will be done through Competitive Recruitment Examination (Written Test and Interview) as notified in the OPSC Notification 2021.
