The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), under the Govt. of Odisha, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 91 vacancies to the post of Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) and Specialists in Group-A through direct recruitment. Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) and Specialists post through OPSC Recruitment 2020 must have attained 21 years of age and not be more than 32 years as on January 1, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as per the OPSC norms.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (Gen/UR/OBC) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc. payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) and Specialists post through OPSC Recruitment 2020 must possess an MBBS Degree from a MCI recognised University/Institute.

Candidates must have a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Regulation Rules 1965.

Candidate must also be able to read, write and speak Odia and must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject, or passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) and Specialists post through OPSC Recruitment 2020 will be done through a Written Test (200 marks).

Candidates selected for Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) and Specialists post through OPSC Recruitment 2020 will be paid an emolument up to Rs. 56,100 per month in Pay Level 12.
