OPSC Recruitment 2020 For 606 Lecturers Post Under Pay Level 10, Apply Online Before March 2

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), under Govt. of Odisha, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 606 vacancies to the post of Lecturers (Group A of OES) in different disciplines comprising Anthropology, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, Education, English, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, History, Psychology, Sociology, etc. through direct recruitment. The online application process towards the same started on February 8, 2020 and closes on March 6, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Lecturers post through OPSC Recruitment 2020 must have attained 21 years of age as on January 1, 2020 and not be more than 48 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-SM) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must remit a prescribed amount of Rs. 400 (Gen/UR) as examination fee through SBI Challan mode at any branch of State Bank of India on or before March 6, 2020. However, SC/ST (Odisha only) and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the examination fees.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Lecturers post through OPSC Recruitment 2020 must possess a Ph.D; Master's Degree in the concerned subject/discipline with minimum 55% marks from a recognised University/Institute, and must be conversant in Odia language - read, write and speak as specified in the notification.

Candidates must have also cleared NET in the concerned subject/discipline for Master's Degree holders.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Lecturers post through OPSC Recruitment 2020 will be done through Shortlisting and Interview.

Candidates selected as Lecturers through OPSC Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument under pay matrix Level 10.
