ONGC Recruitment For 309 Non-executive Positions 2019

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), a 'Maharatna' company with the Govt. of India has invited applications from Indian nationals of Assam domicile for filling 309 non-executive vacancies for its offices in the Assam region commencing from 07 January 2019 to 27 January 2019 as the last date for submitting online applications.

Age Criteria

The recruitment shall be conduced for multiple positions under A2, A-1 and W-1 Levels. Candidates applying for posts under A1 and A2 level must have attained 18 years of age and not exceeded 30 years as on 27 January 2019, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 33 years for OBC categories. While those applying for vacancies under W-1 level must have attained 18 years of age and not exceeded 27 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 33 years for OBC categories.

Vacancy Positions

The recruitment shall be conducted for various positions comprising Assistant Technicians (Boiler), Technical Assistants (Chemistry), Junior Assistants (Steno English), Junior Assistant Technicians (Electrical), Junior Assistants (Materials Management), Assistant Rigman (Drilling), Technical Assistants Grade. III (Chemistry), Assistant Technicians (Production/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics and Instrumentation) Assistant Grade-III (Transport), Security Supervisor, Clinical Assistant (Optometry), Junior Technical Assistants (Chemistry/Production/Cementing/Electrical/ Diesel/Welding/Machining and Fitting) Motor Vehicle Driver (Winch Operation), Junior Motor Vehicle Driver (Heavy Vehicle Operation), Junior Slinger Cum Rigger, Junior Assistants (Accounts/Materials Management/Personnel & Administration and Official Language) Junior Security Supervisor, Junior Fire Supervisor, Medical Assistants (Industrial Hygiene/ Pathology/Sterilization- CSSD/Radiology/Anaesthesia/ECG/OT and Dental Hygiene), Pharmacist (Allopathy) and Jr Health Attendants.

Registration/Application Fees

Candidates applying for various positions are required to pay a prescribed fee of Rs. 370/- (Gen/OBC) towards the registration process through off line mode using a Challan Form at any of the SBI branches towards the ONGC Power Jyoti A/c No. 30827318409 of SBI, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun. SC/ST/PWD and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of fees.

Educational Criteria

Candidates seeking application for various posts must possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and other relevant Trades; PG Degree in Chemistry; B.Sc. Graduate with Physics/ Maths; M.C.A/ B.C.A; B.E/B.Tech in relevant disciplines as detailed in the notification. High School/Class X qualified. All of the above qualifications must be recognised by relevant statutory bodies like UGC/AICTE, etc.

Selection And Pay

The selection of candidates to various posts will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Skill Tests.

The selected candidates will be paid emolument of Rs. 12,000/- - Rs. 27,000/- per month (For A-II Level Posts), Rs. 11,000/- - Rs. 24,000/- per month (For A-I Level Posts) and Rs. 10,000/- - Rs. 18,000/- per month (For W-I Level Posts).
