The Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC), a Govt. of India-run 'Maharatna' company has released a notification inviting applications in a prescribed format from eligible candidates for filling 785 vacancies to the post of Assistant Executive Engineers (Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Production, Reservoir, Industrial Engineering), Chemists, Geologists, Geophysicists (Surface and Wells), Materials Management Officer, Programming Officer and Transport Officer through direct selection based on the GATE-2019 score to be posted at ONGC's operation units anywhere in India. The application process towards the same starts from March 27, 2019 and closes on April 30, 2019 (Tentative).

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for AEE, Geologists and Geophysicists posts through ONGC Recruitment 2019 must possess the following qualifications:

Assistant Executive Engineer: Graduate in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks from a recognized Institute/University

Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech in relevant domain from a recognized Institute/University

Materials Management Officer: MBA in relevant domain from a recognized Institute/University

Transport Officer: Graduate in Auto Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized Institute/University

Programming Officer: Graduate in Computer Engineering/Information Technology; MCA with at least 60% marks from a recognized Institute/University

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as AEE, Geologists and Geophysicists through ONGC Recruitment 2019 will be done based on candidates' GATE-2019 Score in the concerned paper/discipline, Shortlisting, Trade Test and Interview.
