The trades include Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic, Instrumentation, Computer Operator, Laboratory Assistant, Accountancy, and more.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:
- ITI Certificate in relevant trade, or
- Diploma in Engineering, or
- Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in relevant discipline
Age Limit (as on November 17, 2025):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 24 years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.
Selection Process
The ONGC Apprentice selection will be based on merit drawn from marks obtained in the qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma/Graduation). No written test or interview will be conducted. The final list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the official ONGC portal.
