Odisha Postal Circle Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 4,392 Postmasters And Gramin Dak Sevaks

India Post, under the Ministry of Communications has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 4,392 vacancies to the post of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Gramin Dak Sevaks for Odisha Postal Circle through direct recruitment. The online application-cum-registration process towards the same starts from March 15, 2019 and closes on April 15, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Postmasters and Gramin Dak Sevaks through Odisha Postal Circle Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age as on March 15, 2019 and must not more than exceeded 40 years (Gen), with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC categories.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 100 (GEN/OBC/EWS) as application fee through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit payment gateways) mode or Challan mode as detailed in the notification. However, SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Language Proficiency

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Postmasters and Gramin Dak Sevaks through Odisha Postal Circle Recruitment must have passed SSC/Class 10 or equivalent with English and Mathematics from a recognized Board/Institute.

Candidates must have command over local dialect of the circle/region they are applying for, and must have a Basic Computer Training Course (sixty-days duration) certificate from a recognized Computer Training Institute established by law. Applicants must have knowledge of cycling or must be able to ride scooter or motorcycle.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Postmasters and Gramin Dak Sevaks through Odisha Postal Circle Recruitment will be done based the marks obtained by the candidates' in SSC/Class10 or equivalent.

Candidates selected as Postmasters and Gramin Dak Sevaks will be paid a remuneration in the following scale:

Branch Postmaster: Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 14,500 per month
ABPM and Gramin Dak Sevaks - Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month
