Odisha HC directs IIM-C to accept 10+2+3 pattern for PGDBA course

In a recent decision, the Odisha High Court (HC) has directed the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta to accept applications from candidates with an academic background of 10+2+3 pattern, for admissions into the newly introduced Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) course.

The postgraduate (PG) programme in Business Analytics is a joint venture of three leading academic institutes of the country - IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur and the Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata (ISI Kolkata).

Odisha HC directs IIM-C to accept 10+2+3 pattern

The new degree course will be of two years' duration and will commence from this academic session. The new course will enable the students to become part of the three institutes all at once as well as study one semester at each one of them.

The Odisha HC was acting on a petition filed which challenges the current criteria of 10+2+4 academic pattern for admission into the PGDBA course, along with professional experience and Personal Interview (PI).
