OASIS Scholarship 2026: New Mandatory NSP OTR Rule for West Bengal Students

West Bengal has opened the OASIS Scholarship portal for the 2026–27 academic session. Students from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) can now apply. This includes both pre‑matric and post‑matric categories. A new mandatory rule requires students to generate a One-Time Registration (OTR) first. This must be done via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

The NSP OTR acts as a unique identifier for all government aid. Linking this registration to your OASIS profile is essential for document verification. You must ensure your Aadhaar details match your school certificates exactly. Any difference in name or birth date will cause application rejection. Applicants must be domicile residents of West Bengal to qualify for these funds. You need to upload your caste certificate and current income proof.
