NTA will administer joint PhD entry exams for DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU

For admission to PhD programs provided at the University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, the National Testing Agency, or NTA, will now hold a uniform entrance examination. On the NTA website's official page, there is a notification about this. The registration process has begun, so says the same. Candidates can go to the official website, phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in, to apply for the PhD programs.

For PhD admissions to JNU and Delhi University, the NTA previously held separate exams. Additionally, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University used to administer entrance exams at the institute level for PhD programs, and BHU had a Research Entrance Test for the integrated MPhil-PhD courses.

According to the official announcement, "Candidates who are desirous of applying for the exam may go through the Information Bulletin and apply online at https://phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in/ only during the period from 09.08.2023 to 08.09.2023, and also pay the applicable fee, online, through the payment gateway using debit/credit cards, net banking, and UPI."

According to the official schedule, registration will end on September 8, 2023, and the deadline for successfully transferring fees via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI is also on that date. The agency will open the rectification window from September 9 to September 11.

The information about the admission card and the exam dates will shortly be made available by NTA.
