This re-exam is being conducted due to cancellations at four exam centers caused by technical issues and flooding. Candidates can easily access their admit cards by following these steps:

  • Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
  • Click on the admit card link available on the homepage.
  • Enter your UGC NET application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  • Submit the information to download your admit card.

UGC NET June 2024 Re-Exam Details

The re-exam is scheduled for September 4, 2024, from 3 PM to 6 PM. The affected exam centers include:

  • Dr. Ghanshyam Singh College of Education in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh
  • Shankara Group of Institutions in Jaipur, Rajasthan
  • Amatyas Global IT Solution in Jamnagar, Gujarat
  • Jainee College of Engineering and Technology in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu

The original exams at these centers were supposed to take place on August 21, 27, and 28 across different shifts. Candidates are advised to check their new admit cards for specific details such as the exam center, address, date, time, and shift. It's important to note that while the exam city and roll number will remain unchanged, the admit card will have updated details about the re-exam.

Importance of UGC NET

The UGC NET is a significant examination for determining eligibility for assistant professor positions in Indian universities and colleges. It also awards Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) to eligible students, providing them with the opportunity to pursue research in their chosen fields.

An official notice from the NTA advises candidates to carefully review their new admit cards and ensure they arrive at their exam centers on September 4, 2024, as per the details provided. "Candidates are advised to carefully note the details of Exam Centre/Address/Date/Time and Shift as mentioned in new Admit Card and reach on the day of examination, i.e., 04th September 2024 accordingly. It is also informed that the Exam City and Roll No. of the candidates will remain same," the notice states.
