NTA Releases Important Notice for CUET UG Application 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important notice regarding the CUET UG Application 2026, urging candidates to complete and submit their online application forms well before the deadline.

As per the official notice, students planning to appear for the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 must ensure that their applications are submitted on or before January 30, 2026, to avoid last-minute issues.

The CUET UG 2026 online registration process commenced on January 3, 2026, and will remain open until January 30, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. NTA has advised candidates not to wait until the final day, as heavy traffic on the website may lead to technical difficulties.

CUET UG 2026 Application Fee Deadline

Along with completing the application form, candidates must also ensure timely payment of the application fee. According to the notice, the last date for fee payment is also January 30, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. Applications will be considered incomplete and rejected if the fee payment is not successfully made within the stipulated time.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Schedule

NTA has confirmed that the CUET UG 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 11 to May 31, 2026, across multiple exam centres in India and abroad. The exam will be held over several days depending on the number of candidates and subject combinations.

CUET UG is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate programs in central universities, state universities, deemed universities, and private institutions participating in the CUET process.

In its notice, NTA has reminded candidates to:

• Carefully fill in personal, academic, and contact details
• Select subjects and universities thoughtfully, as changes may not be allowed later
• Upload photograph and signature as per prescribed specifications

NTA has also clarified that candidates should regularly check the official CUET website for updates related to correction window, exam city intimation slips, admit cards, and exam guidelines.
