The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a re-examination for 49 candidates who were unable to complete the AIAPGET 2026 examination due to a power failure at an examination centre in Jaipur. The re-examination will be conducted on September 1, 2026, from 10 AM onwards.

AIAPGET, or the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test, is a national-level entrance examination for admission to postgraduate programmes in AYUSH disciplines. The original examination was conducted on August 22, 2026, for registered candidates across the country.
The re-examination has been scheduled specifically for the 49 affected candidates who could not complete their examination because of the power disruption.
The re-examination details are as follows:

The affected candidates appeared at the Shri Satya Sai PG College Centre in Jaipur. NTA stated that the examination could not be completed by these candidates because of a power failure at the centre.
According to the NTA notice, the power failure occurred during the examination at the Jaipur centre and prevented 49 candidates from completing the test.
The centre had 192 candidates scheduled to appear for the examination. NTA attributed the power-related disruption to M/S Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the examination conducting agency.
To ensure that the affected candidates get an opportunity to complete the examination, NTA has decided to conduct a separate re-examination.
The AIAPGET 2026 examination was conducted on August 22 in Shift-I at examination centres across the country.
According to NTA, a total of 36,979 candidates registered for the examination. Of these, 35,837 candidates appeared at 200 examination centres.
The examination was successfully completed by 35,788 candidates, while the 49 candidates at the Jaipur centre were unable to complete it because of the power failure.
The re-examination will therefore be conducted only for the affected candidates rather than the entire group of AIAPGET applicants.
NTA has stated that further information regarding the re-examination will be communicated through revised admit cards issued to the affected candidates.
Candidates appearing for the re-examination should download their revised admit cards once they are made available and carefully check the examination centre, reporting time and other instructions.
The revised admit card will serve as an important document for appearing in the September 1 examination.
The 49 affected candidates should regularly monitor the official NTA website and other official communication channels for updates regarding the re-examination.
Candidates should ensure that they reach the revised examination centre according to the reporting instructions mentioned on their admit cards. They should also carry all documents required for entry to the examination centre.
NTA has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the candidates due to the disruption.
