The Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY), Kochi, has invited applications in a prescribed format from ITI qualified candidates (male and female) for engaging 172 Apprentices in multiple trades comprising Electrician (13), Electronic Mechanic (17), Machinist (09), Turner (07), Welder-Gas & Electrical (10), Painter-General (08), Electroplater (05), Mechanic Motor Vehicle (02), Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (08), Fitter (18), Computer Operation of Programming Assistant-COPA (13), Shipwright (Wood)/Carpenter (12), Sheet Metal Worker (08), Diesel Mechanic (16), Tailor (04), Cutting and Sewing Machine Operator (04), Mechanic Instrument-Aircraft (06), Electrician-Aircraft (06) and Mechanic - Radio and Radar Aircraft (06) through direct recruitment. The offline application process towards the same starts from June 10, 2019 and closes on July 23, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Apprentices post through NSRY Recruitment 2019 must not have exceeded 21 years of age (UR/OBC) as on October 01, 2019 with a relaxation (upper age limit) up to 26 years for SC/ST candidates as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Apprentices through NSRY Recruitment 2019 must have passed Matriculation/Class 10 or equivalent (50% marks) and possess an ITI in relevant trade applied for with an aggregate of 65% marks.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Apprentices through NSRY Recruitment 2019 will be done through Shortlisting, ITI marks of the candidate in relevant trade, Written Test and Oral Exam. (Personal Interview).

Candidates selected as Apprentices will be paid a monthly stipend as per the Govt. rules and regulations.

Candidates applying for the post of Apprentices through NSRY Recruitment 2019 must fill the application form in a prescribed format attached with the advertisement, and send the same along with relevant supporting testimonials listed in the notification to the, "Admiral Superintendent (for Officer-in-Charge, Apprentices Training School), Naval Ship Repair Yard, Naval Base, Kochi - 682004," on or before July 23, 2019 by general post only.
