New Delhi, November 26: In an initiative aimed to benefit over 4 lakh students every year, National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) has inked an agreement with the University of Delhi to introduce skill-based training programmes as a part of the undergraduate (UG) study programmes.

"This is a big opportunity for students who wish to supplement their theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on training that will improve their employability in the increasingly competitive job market in the country and transform their lives," NSDC MD & CEO Dilip Chenoy said.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked yesterday, will cover UG programmes conducted in colleges and institutions at the University of Delhi, including the School of Open Learning and Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board.
