From being an NPS-Indiranagar (Bangalore) topper to getting a John Jay Scholar at Columbia University in New York City, Srishti shares some of her best influences and tips that has kept her going on the progressive wing.
Where are you headed?
Designated a John Jay Scholar at Columbia University in New York City, where I will be pursuing liberal arts and sciences potentially majoring in Economics or English.
Are there any more colleges/universities which have offered you admits?
Also admitted to Cornell, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Boston University (with presidential scholarship) and USC (also with presidential scholarship) and a couple more..
Extra-curricular activities?
Debating, President of Literary Association, playing the guitar
How did you do it?
Enjoy what you're learning and don't worry too much about the results.
Biggest influences?
Parents, who gave me the space and courage to pursue what I wanted to. Two excellent teachers who made learning Chemistry and English wonderful experiences.
Any tips?
'It's okay to be confused or unsure about your future. Just grab every opportunity and make sure you give it your best shot. And don't forget to have fun.'
