The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), India's leading PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy, has invited applications in a prescribed format from eligible Indian nationals for filling 57 Trade Apprentice posts in multiple trades. All applications must be submitted on or before 28 February 2019.

The recruitment is for various Trades comprising Fitter, Machinist, Welder (Gas & Electric), Electrician, Electronic Technician, Pump Operator cum mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Mechanic (Chiller Plant) Industrial air conditioning to be posted at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, Kudankulam in Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District in Tamil Nadu.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Trade Apprentice in multiple trades through NPCIL Recruitment For Trade Apprentices must have attained 16 years of age as on 28 February 2019, and not exceeded 24 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 27 years (OBC), 29 years (SC) and 34 years (PWD) candidates.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Trade Apprentice in multiple trades comprising Fitter, Machinist, Welder (Gas & Electric), Electrician, Electronic Technician, Pump Operator cum mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Mechanic (Chiller Plant) Industrial air conditioning through NPCIL Recruitment For Trade Apprentices must have passed SSC/Class 10 with Mathematics and Science in 10+2/HSC or its equivalent from a recognised Board/Institution.

He/she must possess an ITI Pass Certificate in the respective trades as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Trade Apprentice's post in multiple trades through NPCIL Recruitment For Trade Apprentices will be done based on the candidate's academic credentials, Physical Fitness (PET), and age criteria.

Candidates selected as Trade Apprentices in multiple trades will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 13,000/- per month.

Following the registration, candidates must download the Application Form given in the advertisement and send the same along with self-attested copies of supporting documents/certificates to, "The Manager (HRM), HRM Section, Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, Kudankulam PO, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District - 627106" on or before 28 February 2019.

The envelope containing the application form in a prescribed format and other supporting documents must be superscribed as, "APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF TRADE APPRENTICE against Notice No. 1/KKNPP/HRM/2019."
