Northern Railway Recruitment For 22 Senior Residents Through 'Walk-In' Selection On June 10

The Indian Railways, through the RRC Northern Railway, New Delhi, has called for applications in a prescribed format from qualified and experienced Indian nationals for engaging 22 Senior Residents in diverse specialties comprising Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Anesthesia, Radiology and Obst. & Gynae under Senior Residency Scheme at Northern Railway Central Hospital, New Delhi through a 'Walk-in-Interview' process scheduled on June 10, 2020 from 8:30 am onwards at the Northern Railway Central Hospital, New Delhi.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Senior Residents post through Northern Railway Recruitment must not have exceeded 37 years of age (Gen/UR) as on February 1, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 40 years (OBC) and 42 years (SC/ST) respectively as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Senior Residents post through Northern Railway Recruitment must possess a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma recognised by MCI/NBE in the concerned Specialty.

However, if candidates with PG qualification are not available in a particular specialty, candidates without having PG qualification, but having at least three years' experience after MBBS, out of which one-year of Junior Residency from a Government Hospital (300 beds or more) or MCI recognized/NBE accredited private hospital(300 beds or more) in the concerned specialty, can be considered for a period of one year only.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Senior Residents post through Northern Railway Recruitment will be done based on the candidates' performance in the 'Walk-in-Interview' scheduled on June 10, 2020 from 8:30 am onwards at the Northern Railway Central Hospital, New Delhi.

Candidates selected for Senior Residents post through Northern Railway Recruitment will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 67,700 up to Rs. 2,08,700 per month.
