Northern Railway Recruitment 2020 For 26 Medical Officers Through 'Walk-In' Selection

The Indian Railways, through the RRC Northern Railway, has invited applications in a prescribed format from qualified and experienced retired Government Medical Officers of the Central/State Governments as well as from "open market" for filling 26 vacancies to the post of General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO) - 24 and Specialists (02) through a 'Walk-in-Interview' process scheduled on April 15, 2020 from 10:00 am onwards to 4:00 pm at the Chief Medical Superintendent, Divisional Railway Hospital, Near DRM Office, Northern Railway, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for GDMO posts through Northern Railway Recruitment 2020 must not be more than 50 years of age (Gen/UR), 53 years (OBC) and 55 years (SC/ST) respectively as on April 1, 2020 as specified in the notification. For retired Govt. MO's, they must not have exceeded 65 years of age.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for GDMO posts through Northern Railway Recruitment 2020 must possess an MBBS Degree; MD/DNB from a MCI/NBE recognised University/Institute, and must have a valid registration with Medical Council of India (MCI)/State Medical Council as detailed in the advertisement with desirable years of work experience in the concerned area.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for GDMO posts through Northern Railway Recruitment 2020 will be done based on the candidates' performance in the 'Walk-in-Interview' scheduled on April 15, 2020 from 10:00 am onwards at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates selected for GDMO posts through Northern Railway Recruitment 2020 will be paid remuneration in the scale of Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 95,000 per month.
