Northeast Frontier Railway Recruitment For TGT, PGT And PRT Posts Through A ‘Walk-In’ Selection

Post NameThe Northeast Frontier Railway (NEFR), Guwahati, has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for filling 29 Primary Teachers (PRT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Post-Graduate Teachers (PGT) post in relevant disciplines through a 'Walk-in-Interview' process scheduled on March 30 and March 31, 2020 respectively from 10:00 am onwards at the Office of the General Manager, Co-GM Office Complex, Maligaon, Railway, Guwahati.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of PRT, PGT and TGT in Northeast Frontier Railway must not have exceeded 50 years of age as on June 1, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as applicable.

Candidates, from all categories, are exempted from paying the fee towards application processing, subject to conditions, as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for the post of PRT, PGT and TGT in Northeast Frontier Railway must have passed Higher Secondary or its equivalent; possess a Graduation Degree or equivalent and Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed); Graduation Degree in relevant discipline with B.Ed; Graduate with Diploma in relevant discipline from a recognised University/Institute.

Candidates' must have also qualified/passed in TET with relevant years of experience the concerned discipline.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as PRT, PGT and TGT in Northeast Frontier Railway will be done through a 'Walk-in-Interview' process scheduled on March 30 and March 31, 2020 respectively from 10:00 am onwards at the General Manager, Co-GM Office Complex, Maligaon, Railway, Guwahati.

Candidates selected as PRT, PGT and TGT in Northeast Frontier Railway will be paid an emolument of Rs. 26,250 per month.

Candidates interested in joining as PRT, PGT and TGT in Northeast Frontier Railway must appear for the 'Walk-in-Interview' process scheduled March 30 and March 31, 2020 respectively from 10:00 am onwards at the "Office of the General Manager, Co-GM Office Complex, Maligaon, Railway, Guwahati" with relevant supporting documents.
