North Central Railway Recruitment 2020 For 196 Trade Apprentices, Register Online Before July 15

The Indian railways, through the North Central Railway, has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian citizens for filling 196 Trade Apprentice vacancies in multiple trades comprising Fitter, Welder (G&E), Mechanic Machine & Tool Maintenance, Machinist, Painter, Electrician and Stenographer (Hindi) through direct recruitment to be posted at NCR, Wagon Repair Workshop at Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. The registration-cum-application process towards the same started on June 1, 2020 and closes on July 15, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Trade Apprentice posts through North Central Railway Recruitment 2020 must have attained 15 years of age and not have exceeded 24 years as on December 1, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST) and 3 years (OBC) respectively.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 170 (Gen/OBC) as application-cum-portal fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc.) mode only. However, SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are required to pay only portal fee of Rs. 70 through online mode.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Trade Apprentice posts through North Central Railway Recruitment 2020 must have passed Class 10 or equivalent under 10+2 with minimum 50% marks with ITI certificate in relevant trade from a NCVT recognised Institute/Board as detailed in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Trade Apprentice posts through North Central Railway Recruitment 2020 will be done through Shortlisting, Merit and Certificate Verification.

Candidates selected for Trade Apprentice posts through North Central Railway Recruitment 2020 will be paid remuneration as per the apprenticeship norms.
