The Indian Railways through the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Central Railway (NCR), Allahabad, has invited offline applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling 296 vacancies to the post of Act Apprentices in multiple trades comprising Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, IT & Electronics System Maintenance, Plumber, Draftsman (Civil), Stenographer (English), Wireman, Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronics and Communication System and Health Sanitary Inspector through direct recruitment to be posted at NCR's Agra Division. The offline application process towards the same started on December 2, 2019 and closes on January 10, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Apprentices post through North Central Railway must have attained 15 years of age and not have exceeded 24 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC), 5 years (SC/ST) and 10 years (PWD) respectively.

Educational Credentials and Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Apprentices post through North Central Railway must have passed Class 10/SSLC/Matriculation or equivalent with ITI in Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, IT & Electronics System Maintenance, Plumber, Draftsman (Civil), Stenographer (English), Wireman, Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronics and Communication System and Health Sanitary Inspector trades from a NCVT/SCVT recongnised Board/Institute as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Apprentices through North Central Railway will be done through Shortlisting, Trade Test and Certificate Verification.

Candidates selected as Apprentices through North Central Railway will be paid emolument as per the apprenticeship norms.
