In a supportive move for candidates appearing for the UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) Exam, the Noida-Greater Noida Metro will commence operations from 6 am on Sunday. Typically, metro services on the Aqua Line between the twin cities begin at 8 am on Sundays, but this adjustment has been made specifically for the exam day, as announced by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC).

"To assist candidates for the UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) exam scheduled on June 16 (Sunday), passenger services will start at 6 am instead of 8 am and will run at 15-minute intervals on the Aqua Line," stated NMRC's Managing Director Lokesh M on Friday.
This adjustment in metro service timings ensures that candidates can reach their examination centres on time, providing significant relief to many aspirants. The extended services reflect a thoughtful consideration of the logistical needs of the examinees, facilitating a smoother journey on this important day.
