NMIMS declares the results of NMAT 2014 Window 5

NMAT 2014 Window 5 results are out

NMIMS B-school, declares the results of NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2014 Window 5. The examination was conducted from 4th December, 2013 to 18th December, 2013. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management studies (NMIMS), conducts this examination every year in order to select candidates for its courses at SVKM. Window 5 is the final examination slot for NMAT 2014.

Once the candidate gets shortlisted, he has to clear two more rounds (Case Discussion and Personal Interview) in order to get selected. This examination has objective type or multiple choice questions and students has 120 minutes to complete this question paper. The question paper of NMAT is divided in three segments: Language Skills (32 questions), Quantitative Skills (48 questions) and Logical Reasoning (40 questions). However, there are no negative markings in this examination.

In order to meet the growing demand for management education, the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal, with the help of a donation from Narsee Monjee Educational Trust, established a recognised Management institute of the Mumbai University in 1981.

Since then NMIMS has grown into a flourishing University, offering courses / programs across various disciplines, such as Management, Technology, Science, Pharmacy, Architecture and Commerce. Today, the University has over 5000 students and more than 200 faculty members. The faculty at the University represent an eclectic mix of Industry and Academic experience; national and international experiences.

About SKVM (Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal)

This school was originally established in 1921 as Rashtriya Shala by Shri Kishorelal Mashruwala and Shri Gokulbhai Bhatt. Subsequently, the group of social workers expanded to a large number of other service-minded Gujarati businessmen of Vile Parle area, who then came together to form SVKM in 1934.

A number of eminent educationalists have always been associated with SVKM. In 1934, Rashtriya Shala was taken over by SVKM. In the year 1936, it became Smt. Gokalibai Punamchand Pitamber High School. On 2nd November, 1938, the foundation ceremony of the school building was done at the hands of Shri Bhaidas Maganlal.
