The Ministry of Education has announced the appointment of a new Director for the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand. According to the official notification, the newly appointed director will serve as both the academic and administrative head of the institute.

Candidate Eligibility

To be eligible for this prestigious position, candidates must meet several criteria:

• Educational Qualifications: A PhD with first-class degrees at the Bachelor's and Master's levels in Engineering or Technology.
• Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in Teaching, Industry, or Research. Out of this, at least 10 years should be at the level of Professor or higher in a reputed educational institute, industry, or research organization.

Age and Salary Details

• Age Limit: The candidate should not be older than 65 years as of the closing date for applications.
• Salary: The position offers a monthly salary of Rs 2,10,000, along with a special allowance of Rs 11,250 and other usual allowances.
