NIT Calicut's “Multivariate Analysis Using SPSS & Spreadsheets”

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut, has announced national workshop on "Multivariate Analysis Using SPSS & Spreadsheets". This event is organised by School of Management Studies, NIT Calicut.

About the workshop:

This workshop on Multivariate Analysis Using SPSS and Spreadsheets is primarily targeted at Faculty and Research Scholars either doing or planning to do research in the area of science, engineering and management. The orientation of the workshop is towards applied, computational and field databased research. This workshop will be helpful for the institutions offering courses in research methodology. This workshop will be the platform for academicians and researchers in science,engineering and management for networking with specialists and renowned researchers. The key objective of the program is to enable the par participants to define a research problem and develop a suitable methodology for addressing the problem. The par participants will also learn about the use of various data analysis methods in research.

Eligibility:

• This is an interdisciplinary programme. Participants from Industry and Academia Students, Researchers in any of Arts/Science/Engineering/ Management stream and having interest in the area are eligible to apply.
• Participants should be familiar with MS Excel to attend the Data Analysis Using MS Excel sessions and also have personal laptop while attending the workshop.

Registration fee:

• Participants from NITC : INR Rs. 500/-
• Participants from other institutions: INR Rs. 1000/-

Last date for registration is 28th January 2014.

The workshop will be held from 30th January to 1st February, 2014.
