National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut, has announced a one day workshop on "Geosynthetics in Road Construction". The workshop is organised by the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT, Calicut.
About the workshop:
This workshop is organised as part of the training activities of the Centre for Transportation Research with the objective of equipping the practicing professionals with the latest tools and techniques.
This workshop is conceived to provide an overview of recent developments in geosynthetics and their applications in road construction. This workshop will provide opportunities for interaction with experts in the field of geotechnical and transportation engineering and will be helpful for research scholars, teachers and practicing engineers.

Registration fee:
The registration fee per participant is INR Rs. 500/-
The registration fee shall be paid by Demand Draft in favour of ‘Centre for Transportation Research' and payable at ‘Calicut or State Bank of India, NITC Branch (Code 2207)'.
