According to the latest information, the National Institute of Open Schooling has begun registration for the NIOS secondary class 10 and senior secondary class 12 public exams 2022. Students can register for the NIOS April-May 2023 public exams by visiting nios.ac.in. According to the latest information, students can register for the NIOS Class 10, 12, and 13 public exams 2023 until January 10.

Furthermore, only students who have registered for the April 2023 exam and unsuccessful eligible learners from previous examinations are eligible to apply. In addition, students who registered and appeared in the NIOS October-November 2022 exam will be able to register between December 26 and January 10 without paying a late charge.

NIOS Registration 2023 For April-May Public Exams: Important Dates

  • For learners enrolled in stream-1, Block-1 for April 2023 and unsuccessful eligible learners of previous examinations: December 1, 2022
  • Last date to apply: January 10, 2023 (without late fee)
  • For students who registered/ appeared in October- November 2022 exam: December 26, 2022
  • Last date to apply: January 10, 2023 (without late fee)
  • For all eligible students with a late fee of Rs 100 per subject: January 11 to 17, 2023
  • For all eligible students with a consolidated late fee of Rs 1500 per learner: January 18 to 25, 2023

Steps to Pay NIOS 2023 Registration Fees for Classes 10, 12, April-May Public Exam

The NIOS exam cost for theory papers is Rs 250 per topic. The fee for practicals in disciplines that include both theory and practicals is Rs 120. Students can follow the procedures below to learn how to pay registration fees for the NIOS 2023 April-May Public Exam for Classes 10 and 12.

  1. Visit the NIOS official website - sdmis.nios.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the link which reads- Examination/Result link.
  3. Click on the examination link to pay the NIOS exam fees.
  4. Enter the required credentials, such as a 12-digit enrollment number and submit.
  5. Now, pay the exam fee and fill in the details.
  6. Check and download the form for future use.

For the purpose of getting a passing certificate, Class 12 pupils must maintain a two-year gap from the passing year of secondary exams. If the learner still needs to gain the required two-year gap, they can only register for a maximum of four courses (including subjects already passed) for the upcoming April-May tests.
