NIOS Cancels 12th And 10th Public Exams 2021 June Session

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has cancelled the Class 12th Public Exams 2021 June session in view of the COVID-19 situation. Institute will prepare the results based on the well defined objective criteria. Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has confirmed the news that the NIOS public exams for Class 10th and 12th June session cancelled.

Earlier, NIOS has decided to cancel the Class 10 board exams and postpone Class 12 board exams in June 2021 due to a surge in Coronavirus cases across the country. The NIOS board has deferred the theory and practical exams scheduled in June 2021. Students are advised to track the latest updates on the official portal.

NIOS 12th Exams 2021 Cancelled

Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted, "Keeping the safety and security of our students on priority, NIOS cancels class 12 examinations. Students will be evaluated based on objective criteria to be announced soon. This will benefit around 1.75 Lakhs students."

NIOS tweeted, "Dear Learners, The Public Exam in Theory & Practical of Secondary courses scheduled in June 2021 are hereby cancelled and the Public Exam in Theory & Practical of Senior Secondary & Vocational courses scheduled in June 2021 are hereby postponed till further order."

NIOS Class 12 Board Exams June 2021 Cancelled

The NIOS has deferred the Class 12 board exams (Sr Secondary and Vocational Courses) scheduled in June 2021.

The official notice reads, "The NIOS is keeping close watch on the situation and will be reviewed by 20th June 2021. The notification in this regard shall be issued 15 days in advance prior to actual date of examinations."

NIOS Class 10 Board Exams June 2021 Cancelled

The NIOS has cancelled the Class 10 board exams (Theory and Practical of Secondary Courses) for June 2021 session. It has decided to promote based on the subject criteria for assessment. The Class 10 result will be prepared in the best interest of learners.

The official notice reads, The NIOS will devise suitable criteria for assessment and results will be prepared in the best interest of learners. Any Learner who is not satisfied with the result will be allowed to appear in the public examinations or through On-Demand Examination as and when the situation becomes conducive to hold the examinations."
