NIIFT Mohali starts admissions for BVoc Fashion Design; Check out for more details

The admission process for BVoc Fashion Design and Garment Technology at the Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology Mohali (NIIFT Mohali) has commenced. Prospective candidates can complete their registration by May 27th on niiftindia.com. This program will exclusively be available at the Ludhiana campus.

NIIFT Ludhiana is offering a three-year BVoc degree program in fashion design and garment technology, affiliated with Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, providing 25 seats. Upon completion of this degree, students can pursue various career paths including fashion designer, graphic designer, merchandiser in export and buying houses, visual merchandiser, planning and concept manager, garment production manager, garment production quality controller, fashion accessory designer, fashion retail store manager, personal stylist, teacher, and trainer, according to a university spokesperson.

Eligibility

• Possess a plus two certificate in the 10+2 exam pattern, or
• Hold a Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects, or
• Have completed a three or four-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education, or
• Attained the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri- Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level, or
• Passed any Public School or Board or University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system.

• Receipt of Written Exam Results for Undergraduate Courses: June 15th
• Three Counseling Sessions for Postgraduate Courses as per PTU norms: June 18th-19th
• Situation Test and Interview for Undergraduate Courses: June 18th-19th
• First Counseling for Undergraduate Courses, Second Counseling, and Third Counseling for Undergraduate Courses: June 20th-21st
• Open Admission for Vacant Seats (if any) after three rounds of Counseling on a first-come-first-serve basis for eligible candidates: June 24th onwards until the last date of admission as announced by I.K.G Punjab Technical University.
