NIFT Recruitment 2020 For Junior Translation Officers (JTO) Post, Apply Online From June 15 Onwards

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling Sixteen (16) vacancies to the post of Junior Translation Officers (JTO) through direct recruitment to be posted across NIFT campuses in India. The application process towards the same starts from June 15, 2020 from 9:00 am onwards and closes on August 10, 2020 by 5:30 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for JTO posts through NIFT Recruitment 2020 must not have exceeded 30 years of age as on August 10, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as per the Govt. of India guidelines.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (Gen/OBC/EWS) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc.) mode only. However, SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for JTO posts through NIFT Recruitment 2020 must have passed Master's Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level, or Master's Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level from a recognized University/Institute.

Candidates must also possess a Diploma or Certificate course in translation form Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years' experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government office.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for JTO posts through NIFT Recruitment 2020 will be done through a Written Test.

Candidates selected for JTO posts through NIFT Recruitment 2020 will be paid remuneration under Pay Level-6 of the Pay Matrix.
