NIFT Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 179 Assistant Professors Post (Contract)

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, has invited online applications from eligible and experienced Indian nationals for filling 179 vacancies to the post of Assistant Professors on contract for a period of 5 years through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same starts from July 18, 2019 and closes on September 06, 2019 by 5:30 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Assistant Professors post through NIFT Recruitment 2019 must not have exceeded 40 years of age as on September 06, 2019 with relaxations (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST) and 3 years (OBC) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 1,000 (UR/OBC) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/debit card/credit card/BHIM etc.) mode only. SC/ST/Women and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for Assistant Professors post through NIFT Recruitment 2019 must possess a Post Graduation Degree with least 55% marks in relevant areas (detailed in Annexure-I of the notification) from a recognized Institute of National/International repute with minimum three-years of teaching experience and/or experience in research at the University/National or International level institutions in the relevant areas or in the relevant industry. Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Assistant Professors post through NIFT Recruitment 2019 will be done through a Written Test, Presentation and Interview.
Candidates shortlisted as Assistant Professors will be paid emolument under Level 10 of the 7 CPC pay matrix.
